MY STORY
OF HEALING
Fifteen years ago, I stumbled into counseling—not as a career, but as a lifeline. I was a young woman trying to find my way through the beautiful mess of being a wife, a mom, a friend, and simply myself. I didn’t know it at the time, but reaching out for help would become the beginning of a profound transformation in my life.
With the steady support of my loved ones and the unwavering strength of my faith, I began to heal. I started to untangle the stories I was carrying and gently re-author them—stories about who I was, what I was capable of, and who I was becoming. Counseling gave me the space to reimagine my life through the lens of growth, grace, and possibility.
Through my own journey of healing and self-discovery, I found a deep love for this work. What started as a personal need turned into a calling. I began to see the power of safe, meaningful conversations—the kind that help you come home to yourself and open the door to hope.
At the time, I was an elementary school teacher, but something inside me shifted. With encouragement from my loved ones and a deep sense that I was stepping into who I was always meant to be, I returned to school and earned my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
Now, I have the joy of walking alongside others as they explore their inner world, heal old wounds, and step into new chapters. I believe in the power of resilience, in the beauty of re-authoring our stories, and in the quiet hope that even in hard seasons, growth is still happening
